Many of times, it can be hard to tell on your own if you have courage, just because we don't dare jump off a plane or do these "extreme" things doesn't mean we lack courage, it means you have courage in many other ways and we are not aware of it. If you try and try at something, even when you fail you get up and keep moving forward you are one little courageous person. After all It takes more of us to keep trying then to give up.
